Nicky Jam Signs with CAA

Reggaeton singer Nick Rivera Caminero (aka Nicky Jam) was born in Boston, Massachusetts to a Puerto Rican-Dominican family and was raised in Barrio Obrero, Puerto Rico. He was first known for his many collaborations with Daddy Yankee (as the group Los Cangris). Calling him a “comeback reggaeton kid,” Billboard announced that after signing as a recording artist with Sony U.S. Latin and performing rights organization SESAC Latina, the singer has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) for representation in all areas.

CAA will rep Jam (real name Nick Rivera Caminero) in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico and will look to create opportunities for him in all areas, including touring, TV, film, brand partnerships and publishing. Jam’s single “El Perdón,” featuring Enrique Iglesias, continues at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart. Jam is currently in the midst of a South American tour that includes stops in Colombia, Argentina and Chile. He’s slated to tour the U.S. this summer with exact locations to be announced soon.
