Tonight (May 1) marked the official beginning of the arts component of the 2015 Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival in with the Gros Islet Cultural Explosion as the festival moved into its second day. Performances by some of Saint Lucia’s best entertainers and artisans, included DYP, Ezra De Fun Machine, Mysterio, Mongstar, and Silver Shadow Dancers.
The performances, the spectacular ‘Gwan Mouvman’ street parade, the Pantime Steel Orchestra, and displays of carnival costumes began at 8:00pm.
The festival continues with a wide variety of shows and activities until May 11th.
