2015 NGC Bocas Lit Fest

The Bocas Lit Fest team has announced the 2015 NGC Bocas Lit Fest, which takes place from Wednesday, April 29 to Sunday, May 3, 2015. Here is more about the event:

It’s just over three months until the start of the 2015 festival, which runs from 29 April to 3 May. Our team has been hard at work on this year’s programme, and as we begin to count down to those five exciting days, we want to make sure all our friends and festival regulars have the dates marked in their calendars. This is your reminder!

In the coming months we’ll be sharing more information about our 2015 festival at the NCG Bocas Lit Fest website, so keep an eye on that for updates. This year’s festival, as always, will feature dozens of remarkable writers from Trinidad and Tobago, the Caribbean, and further afield — sharing their words, ideas, and stories through readings, discussions, workshops, and performances.

The programme also includes the announcement of the winners of the 2015 OCM Bocas Prize for Caribbean Literature, the Burt Award for Young Adult Literature, and the Hollick Arvon Prize for emerging poets; as well as the epic Verses Bocas Poetry Slam final with a whopping TT$20,000 prize up for grabs! Plus a full schedule of storytelling for children, open mic sessions, film screenings, music, and a chance to meet writers at book signings.
