Spoken word poets are called to audition for the biggest spoken word competition in Trinidad & Tobago, the Verses Bocas Poetry Slam 2015. Auditions will take place from 9:00am to 5:00pm at National Library Pos from January 31 through February 1, 2015.

Description/Call: The Bocas Lit Fest is proud to partner with First Citizens and the 2 Cents Movement to present the biggest spoken word competition of 2015. Our 2014 Slam had a TT$10,000 prize and was witnessed by a sold out audience at the Central Bank Auditorium, Port of Spain. This year the prize has doubled.

We encourage all Spoken Word Poets of any age or experience level to take part in these auditions. Audience members be ready to get your tickets for the semi-finals and finals when they go on sale after the auditions; they disappear quickly. See details above.
