Marc Anthony: “Thank you, Costa Rica and Juan Luis Guerra”

Puerto Rican singer Marc Anthony recently completed the Costa Rican leg of his tour Gigante2 and tweeted his thanks to Costa Rica and Dominican colleague Juan Luis Guerra for the great evening.

At 10:00pm on Thursday, more than 30,000 people gathered at the National Stadium in La Sabana, all dancing in unison to salsa tunes, but also received a special treat with the participation of Juan Luis Guerra, who regaled the audience for over an hour in the final concert of the Gigante2 tour, in which both artists have been visiting countries like Peru, Ecuador, Chile, and Argentina since mid-October.

For Anthony, the presentation was his second in Costa Rica in 2014; he was also there in late February, when he filled the Ricardo Saprissa Stadium as part of the tour to promote his latest album, 3.0.
