Released last year, “Give it All to Me” is produced by JA Productions. It was a hit locally and did well on Caribbean charts on the United States’ east coast. “C’mon Boy” is produced by American producer/singer Terius Youngdell Nash, better known as The-Dream. Also featured on the 13-track soundtrack are Blackbird by India Jean-Jacques, Grateful (Rita Ora), Worthy (Jacob Banks), Shelter (Birdy), Lights and Camera (Yuna), Extraordinary Love (Stacy Barthe), and Masterpiece by Nono featuring Kid Culprit.

Beyond the Lights was directed and written by Gina Prince-Bythewood. The film stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Belle), Minnie Driver, Nate Parker, Danny Glover and Machine Gun Kelly. It was filmed in Los Angeles last year. The film centres on Noni Jean played by Gugu Mbatha-Raw, who is a hot new artist primed for superstardom, but the pressures of success drive her to contemplate suicide.

The film premiered at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival on September 7. It is set for theatrical release in the United States November 14.
