Today (Wednesday, June 4, 2014) from 7:00 to 9:00pm, there will be an exhibition opening for the release of Puerto Rican political prisoner Oscar López Rivera. Tomorrow (June 5, 2014) from 7:00 to 9:00pm, the opening is followed by a fundraiser: the sale of postcard art pieces. This event features an interesting concept: all artwork is exhibited anonymously. The artist’s identity will be revealed upon purchase of the work. All works are $50 each.
This event is sponsored by the National Boricua Human Rights Network and will be held at the Julia de Burgos Latino Cultural Center at 1680 Lexington Avenue in New York, New York.
