Yván Silén’s Del escándalo al asombro, which has been called a work of autobiographical prose poetry, was published in late 2013 but was launched earlier this month by Librería Isla.
Professor Elsa L. Rodríguez writes “What stands out violently in Silén’s work is the skilled use of language: metaphors, synesthesia, oxymorons, and an unrestrained range of neologisms. In Silén, essays becomes poetry and poetry becomes the actual unexpected.”
