Bruno Mars and Juan Luis Guerra Slated for Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival 2014

The Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival will take place at the end of August 2014 with Juan Luis Guerra and Bruno Mars among two of the big names slated for this major musical event.

Some big names will be performing again during the fifth edition of the Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival in Curaçao. This is according to Bon Intenshon, the organizers of the event. Juan Luis Guerra will be back. The Dominican star performed in 2011 with great success. Guerra has over 30 million albums sold and won 15 Latin Grammy Awards, two Latin Billboard Awards and two Grammys. Guerra opens the evening on Saturday, August 30th at the Sam Cooke stage.

Bruno-Mars-300x193New to the festival is Bruno Mars. He scored in recent years, one hit after another. Well-known songs include “Nothing on You,” “Grenade” and “Treasure”. Mars performs with his band The Hooligans. They will close the evening on August 30th.

Earlier it was announced that the Metropole Orchestra will provide a free concert on August 28 with various artists. They will perform a tribute to the famous local composer and artist Dobe R.
