The Martin Luther King Memorial Center’s journal, Caminos [Pathways] was launched today, October 24, 2013, at 4:00pm the Guillén Room at the headquarters of the Union of Cuban Writers and Artists (Unión de escritores y artistas cubanos, UNEAC). This 2013 issue is dedicated exclusively to African-American religions (and, yes, it refers to African-based religions of the wider Americas). It includes articles by Jesús Guanche, Alexander Machado, Ileana Hodge, David Gonzalez, Martín Holbraad, Diane Paton, Juan Carlos Mejias, J.D.Y. Peel, and Abel Pérez Massola.

The Martin Luther King Memorial Center (based in Havana, Cuba) defines itself as Christian-based macro-ecumenical organization that promotes solidarity, popular participation, and contextualized theology.
