The cultural agent Ralph Boncy will hold a book presentation and signing of his latest book, Grandes dames de la musique haïtienne (Nota Bene Editions, 2013) on Friday, Auguste 30, 2013, starting at 5 :00pm at the Hotel Montana in Pétionville, Haiti.
Several artists will be present at the book signing, such as the rapper Princess Eud, pianist Micheline Laudun Denis, and singers Vanessa Jacquemin and Tamara Suffren.
Through the pages of Grandes dames de la musique haïtienne, music lovers will discover great women who have been the pride of Haiti, at home and abroad, on the music scene. Bondy, a cultural facilitator living in Quebec, pays tribute to these women in this original work. Among these artists of great talent, he presents Ticorn, Toto Bisainthe, Martha Jean Claude, Emerante de Pradines, Carole Deminsmin, Mélanie Charles, Stéphanie « Tifane » Séjour, Cécile McLorin Salvant, and more.
