Puerto Rico’s Radio Universidad and Hotel Verdanza come together to celebrate Atabal’s 30 years of music making on Sunday, September 29, 2013, from 2:00pm until 6:00pm, with guest singer Ismael Miranda and group Charanga La Criolla.

Atabal (named after a type of drum) is a tropical music group from Puerto Rico that specializes in Afro-Latin rhythms and percussion. They continue to regale audiences with the sounds of plena, bomba, and salsa, among other Caribbean sounds.
