Call for Submissions: Postal Art—Trinidad & Tobago, “I Had a Dream”

Postal Art—Trinidad & Tobago has just launched their second mail art project organized around the theme “I Had a Dream.” The deadline is November 2013.

Description: The “Postal Art” staff writes, “This time we want you to represent with your creativity the world that exists only in your mind, that world you visit when you sleep or daydream. From those rare and twisted dream that defy explanation to good dreams and not so good ones. You tell us! Participation is open to everyone, regardless of your profession (artist/non-artist), gender, age, etc.
All we ask is your participation. After all submissions have been collected, your creative representations will be exhibited and put on show. The date and venue of the exhibition will be announced at a later date.

Dimensions: Artwork not bigger than 12 inches (on any side).

Technique: The choice of technique depends on your personal preference (collage, painting, photography, mixed media, screen printing, textile, tridimensional works, etc.) However, pieces should be durable enough to travel by mail without excess weight or delicate material to ensure your submission arrives intact.

Sender’s Info: Kindly include your full name, age, country and e-mail. Don’t forget the Postage Stamps! Also, include a brief description of your piece and tell us a little about the dream you’re sending. (Send only original work only, please.)
