This month Puerto Rico’s Seaborne Airlines will gradually increase operations from San Juan, as it replaces American Airlines (American Eagle) on intra-Caribbean routes. Since March 1, 2013, the airline has resumed San Juan–Vieques service and will begin operation to Dominica, Fort-de-France, and Pointe-a-Pitre from April 1, 2013. Also from April 1, the airline will increase operation on routes previously operated by American Airlines (but no longer does): San Juan to Beef Island service increases from 6 to 41 flights weekly and San Juan to St. Thomas service increases from 11 to 33 flights weekly.
