ARC magazine announces that Grenada’s Malaika Brooks-Smith-Lowe and her team are seeking contributors in the new developmental stage of the Groundation Grenada blog. Holly Bynoe writes that, from a small start in 2009, they have organically grown over the years and now the blog has 295 subscribers. Now they are officially putting out the call for Groundation Writers.
The Groundation Grenada team want to create a platform for the diverse voices of youth from across the Caribbean (including the diaspora), and encourage contributions from budding and established writers, poets, artists, farmers, musicians, educators, students and anyone passionate about share their vision of the world.
Malaika Brooks-Smith-Lowe is a socially conscious visual artist whose passion for social justice goes hand in hand with her desire to capture and express struggle, conflict and aspiration using photography and video.
