Irie Jam Radio Brokers Deal to Host Caribbean Events

Irie Jam Radio, the tri-state area’s #1 Caribbean radio station announced that it will host Caribbean events at the Resorts World Casino’s state of the art entertainment facility located in Jamaica, New York.

“I am thrilled to partner with Resorts World Casino New York on this exciting new venture that will give the Caribbean Diaspora access to an upscale, state of the art entertainment facility. Its accessibility, proximity and level of entertainment offerings made it a logical choice for us to broker this deal” Bobby Clarke of Irie Jam Radio said. “We have big plans to showcase some of our biggest reggae and soca superstars in concert at the facility” Clarke disclosed.

Michelle Stoddart, Director of Public Relation and Community Development of Resorts Casino New York said, “We look forward to collaborating with the Irie Jam team to bring culturally diverse entertainment to this venue.

Resorts World Casino New York, is the first entertainment destination of its kind in the five boroughs of New York City. [. . .] The third floor, called Central Park, has 70,000 square feet of event space for concerts and receptions and is the largest event space of its kind in Queens, New York. The first Caribbean event that will be held at the facility [was] the annual Irie Jam Radio anniversary celebration on Saturday, August 11. 2012.

[. . .] Other events on the calendar for the rest of the year includes “Irie Labour Day Party,” that will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2012. The event will be produced jointly by Irie Jam Radio and Chef Garfield. The Irie Jam “Soul Mate Couples Party” will be held over the Thanksgiving weekend, while a Christmas Party and a reggae concert will be held in December.
