Barbadian Saxophonist Andre Woodvine to Co-Publish Work with “The Audio Factory”

After his participation at MIDEM in France earlier this year, Barbadian jazz saxophonist and composer Andre Woodvine announced the signing of a co-publishing deal with German publisher, “The Audio Factory.”

The Audio Factory was founded in 1987 as a music production company for media. The company located in Hamburg has grown to a staff of 25 whose services include actively pitching music for use in television and movies. Andre’s music was recently featured in The Audio factory’s weekly newsletter.

MIDEM is the acronym for Marché International du Disque et de l’Edition Musicale which is held annually in and around the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, France. The event, which is billed as the world’s largest trade fair for the music industry, has been held since 1967. Several thousand musicians, producers, managers, and journalists from around the globe regularly attend MIDEM, which is currently held at the end of January. [. . .]

Along with meeting publishers and music label executives, Woodvine also performed with internationally renowned Jazz pianist Mario Canonge for the exclusive Invest Barbados MIDEM reception. After his arrival at MIDEM, Woodvine was also invited to join Martinique Pianist Ronald Tulle in a vibrant Guadeloupe/Martinique showcase performance which took place at the [. . .] Hotel 3.14.
