The film, directed by young filmmaker Jose Maria Cabral, will open in Santo Domingo in April. It tells the story of David Hernandez, the renowned television host of a popular program in the Caribbean.
During the program’s phone call segment with the viewers David is surprised by a supposed kidnapper that claims to have David’s wife and son kidnapped. The kidnapper forces David to obey three rules: no commercial break, he can’t hang up the call, and needs to play his game or else he would kill his family.
The filmed also opened FUNGLODE’s Global Film Festival last year.
