Kidnap in the Caribbean by Lauren St John – review

‘If you love adventures and animals, this is the book for you,’ Rita Skeeter writes in London’s Guardian.

‘Kidnap in the Caribbean’ is a wonderful mystery adventure. The main characters are a little girl, Laura, her three legged husky Skye, her best friend Tariq, and her grandfather. They think they are just going on a relaxing holiday, but it all changes when Laura’s grandad trips up on the cruise.

I recommend this jam-packed exciting book, with evil pirates, sharks and a bubbling volcano that is ready to explode, to anyone who is between 8 and 12. The story ends with them on the way back to the safety of St Ives, but Lauren St John is writing a sequel which will be out in August of this year, I can’t wait!

If you love adventures and animals, this is the book for you. Read it now and then you can catch up on Laura’s next adventure later this year.
