RENCONTRES – MILWAUKEE MEETS HAÏTI: Haïti 2012: pays rêvé, pays réel

Milwaukee Meets Haïti – a celebration of contemporary Haitian art, cinema, literature, and music – is free and open to the public (with the exception of Tuesday’s welcome reception at the Lynden Sculpture Garden). Events will be in English or French (with simultaneous interpretation in English). You can browse the schedule here.

The conference, to take place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA from March 6 – 9, 2012 is sponsored by  the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures of Marquette University.

Speakers include film director Arnold Antonin, author and activist Yanick Lahens, and painter Edouard Duval-Carrié.
