Tinkuy: Boletín de investigación y debate [Tinkuy: Bulletin of Research and Debate], a journal published by the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at the University of Montreal, call for submissions of scholarly articles on contemporary Puerto Rican women writers for their next issue (Fall 2012). Deadline for submissions is April 15, 2012.
The objective of this special issue is to present a body of work that reveals the richness of Puerto Rican literature written by women today. With this aim in mind, Tinkuy invites articles about women writers of prose (fiction, essays or journalistic), theater, and poetry that have been published all or part of their literary work during the past two decades.
Submission Guidelines: The editorial board will evaluate original articles written in Spanish or English, between 4000 and 6000 words, and conforming to the standards of the latest edition of the MLA Style Manual. Articles must be submitted in Word format by April 15, 2012 to the editor of the issue, Ana Belén Martín Sevillano, to the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org
