This well crafted, critically acclaimed original musical written by Michael Monasterial will be presented on January 14th at 8pm for one day only at the Howland Cultural Center 477 Main st in Beacon NY 12508.
About this play: a new original musical history play that is a tribute to the life and music of Harry Belafonte and is written by Michael Monasterial of Passing the Torch through the Arts. The play showcases Harry Belafonte’s music and highlights his relationship with Dr. King and the major role he played in the Civil rights struggle. Three actors portray the major events of his life with humor, pathos and compassion. Sing and dance along, please. Family Friendly material.
