He’s best known for reaching millions through his music, but Tobagonian Singer/Songwriter Sam Archer is set to open a medium for reaching the masses via a online magazine called Muzilog, Michele Adams reports in the Examiner.
Music, entertainment news, feature articles, and stories on culture will be featured in the Internet publication, which will officially kick off at an August 28th launch event in Brooklyn. The website, which is already up and running, is clean, easy to navigate and loaded with information.
New music releases, Soca, fashion and beauty, R&B, jazz, gospel and pop music were some of the many topics available last week on the site.
“It’s the right time to launch Muzilog, providing a haven for information and updates on issues that matter about the ever-changing entertainment industry,” said Archer, who was born in the village of Mount Pleasant in Tobago and studied in the Caribbean before coming to America.
Archer penned B2K’s 2001 gold-selling “Baby Girl” ballad that was also featured in the first “Barbershop” movie. He also wrote music that has been used on the game show “Let’s Make a Deal,” the “Dr. 90210” plastic surgeon reality show and the TLC network real-estate program “Property Ladder.”
