Film and music industry professionals from African, Caribbean and Pacific countries will gather at Montego Bay’s Rose Hall for this year’s “Stir it Up Film and Music Festival.” The festival takes place from August 31 until September 3, 2011.
The festival offers performances, screenings, workshops and conferences on film, music and other topics related to Caribbean culture and world music. Emerging musicians and film-makers, chosen by online voters and experts, will perform live and screen their work.
The line-up includes Chronic Jester, JeBron, Kotadama’s Chris and Evan Brown, Lazo, Marcus, Muza, Napoleon Da Legend, Radio la Chusma, Rayandra, and Zion TPL, among others.
