In Toronto: Fire Fête Caribana

The 2011 Fire Fête Caribana will take place at the Sound Academy (Polson Pier, located at 11 Polson Street in Toronto) on July 31, 2011, from 10:00pm to 3:00am. Fire Fête Caribana takes place on the Sunday of Caribana Festival weekend.

According to Baiganchoka, more than three thousand people will celebrate the conclusion of Toronto’s 2011 Caribana Festival as they fête to the Caribbean’s best soca artists. “More than 20 bands and performers are set to jump on the main stage all night and just to ensure there will never be a dull moment – 2011 artists to be announced. Last year’s artists included Destra, Talpree, JW & Blaze, KMC, Ravi B, Karma, Skinny Fabulous and Red, Black & White. Numerous DJs such as UMBA, De Enforcas, Goldfinger and Fresh Cut will spin hell raising soca and reggae until 3am in the main space and on the patio.”
