The Princess Royal (pictured here during an earlier visit to the region) will hear local business leaders speaking about financial services during her visit to the Island, the Royal Gazette reports.
Princess Anne arrives in Bermuda on Saturday evening in her role as President of the Caribbean-Canada Emerging Leaders’ Dialogue, a programme for 120 individuals across the region selected as “leaders of tomorrow”, including five representatives from the Island. On Sunday morning, 12 of those fellows will join the Princess Royal for a financial briefing at the offices of reinsurers XL, featuring key speeches from the Island’s international business community and regulators.
The fellows will then meet at the Chewstick Foundation where they will hear about community issues including the behaviour of Bermuda’s youths. Princess Anne will also attend a reception at Government House and meet Premier Paula Cox, before travelling to meet other members of the dialogue elsewhere in the region.
The initiative concludes with a final meeting in Barbados, which Princess Anne will also attend.
