As March draws closer, we see a proliferation of salsa and other Caribbean dance festivals being held around the world. This one caught my eye: the Cuban Salsa in Ireland Association is sponsoring the 2nd International St. Patrick’s Salsa Festival on March 18-20, 2011, in Ireland. The festival will be held at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Golden Lane, in Dublin.

The festival includes workshops at various levels and performances by leading dancers from including Bulgaria, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Estonia, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Puerto Rico, the United Kingdom, and others.
