On the centenary of José Lezama Lima’s birthday, the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures and the Latin American and Latino Studies Institute of Fordham University invites you to explore the rich legacy of one of Latin America’s most complex and brilliant writers, neo-Baroque Cuban author José Lezama Lima.
The symposium, El legado de José Lezama Lima [The Legacy of José Lezama Lima], will be held on Friday, December 3, 2010, from 2:00-6:00pm at Fordham University (Lincoln Center Campus), located at 113 West 60th Street, New York.
There will be presentations (in Spanish) by Duanel Díaz, José Manuel Prieto, Isabel Alvarez-Borland, Rubén Ríos Avila, and Antonio José Ponte. The sessions will be moderated by Arnaldo Cruz-Malavé and Julio Ramos.
