The National Institute of Anthropology and History, with the Mexican Association of Caribbean Studies, is hosting the 10th Conference of the Caribbean Book [X Jornada del Libro Caribeño] under the theme “Caribe: historia, cultura y sabor” [The Caribbean: History, Culture, and Flavor]. The conference will be held on November 11 and 12, 2010, at the Office of Historical Studies, National Institute of Anthropology and History, which is located at 172 Allende Street (at corner of Juárez) in Tlalpan, Mexico (cp. 14000, D F). Specialists from Cuba, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Mexico, and the United States will present on recent publication activity and historical complexities of the Caribbean.
