As part of their 5th anniversary celebration, employees of the Puerto Rico Convention Center (PRCC) were challenged to take an iconic picture of the emblematic structure located in Miramar. According to Acting General Manager Blarys Segarra, the result was a fantastic variety of photographs that expose unusual angles and impacting views of the PRCC that go unnoticed by visitors.
Segarra explained, “These photographs represent not only their talent but the love and respect they all have for their jobs and for what this convention center represents for the island. It also allows others to take a closer look at the heart of the convention center, all from an insider’s point of view.” A panel of experts in photography and journalism evaluated the entries. The first place went to Vivian Santana and second place to Ariana Valerio, both from the Events Department.
The photographs are now part of a photography exhibition at the Puerto Rico Convention Center’s Art Gallery.
