Puerto Rican singer Jennifer López shone at the World Music Awards celebrated last Tuesday, May 18, in Monaco where she performed a medley of her songs at the Sporting Club Monte Carlo. The star of The Back-Up Plan was awarded the Legend for Outstanding Contribution for the Arts. Receiving the award from Cuba Gooding, Jr., López said that the honor meant a lot to her and that it was “only the beginning” of what she hoped would be a long musical career.
Other winners were Lady GaGa (who won five awards), The Black Eyed Peas, U2, Andrea Bocelli, and The Scorpions.
