The Museum of Contemporary Art of Puerto Rico (MAC) marks its 25th anniversary with the huge exhibition “Careos/Relevos: 25 años del Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Puerto Rico.” The exhibition will look at the museum’s trajectory and the history of modern and contemporary Puerto Rican art by showing more than 100 works from the permanent collection. The opening will feature performances by the dance troupe Andanzas and the musical group Amplitud[e]. The exhibit will open on Friday, March 26 at 7pm and will end at 10pm.
During these two weeks, the administrative offices will remain open from Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. Hours of the Documentation Center will be extended to serve the public from Tuesday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. The museum is located in the historical Rafael M. de Labra building, Ponce de León Avenue, Stop 18 in Santurce, Puerto Rico.
