Tonight, February 27, 2010, Panamanian singer Rubén Blades and Seis del Solar will be in concert at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in Puerto Rico. With this concert, “25 Aniversario,” Blades begins his world tour celebrating 25 years since the production of his album Buscando América [Looking for America] and “the internationalization of Caribbean music” through his former group, Seis del Solar.

Blades and Seis del Solar will play the classic pieces from the 80s that brought them international fame as well as recent works. Calle 13’s René Pérez, who says he has not performed in Puerto Rico since he was censored, has confirmed that at some point in the evening, he will join Blades to sing the recent release and Grammy-winning “La Perla.”
