Reggae legend Bob Marley will be helping the Haiti earthquake relief effort from beyond the grave thanks to a 65th birthday celebration with a difference. Members of Marley’s family and friends will gather at Los Angeles art gallery Mr. Musichead on Saturday, February 6, 2010 for the first annual Jammin’ & Wailin’ event on what would have been the late star’s birthday.
Rare artwork and photography featuring the reggae great will be on sale, as will Marley coffee and other items.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Doctors without Borders’ efforts in Haiti.
