Santiago de Cuba Readies for the 30th Festival of Fire

The organizers of Santiago de Cuba’s Festival of Fire (Fiesta del Fuego) have announced that its 30th annual celebration will be held July 3rd through the 9th and will be dedicated to Curaçao and the Brazilian region of Pernambuco. It will also pay tribute to the bicentennial of Mexico’s independence and the 100th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution. The festival is dedicated to strengthening ties between peoples and nations in the region and highlighting common cultural elements.
