Hosted by the Asociación Nacional de Economistas y Contadores de Cuba (ANEC) and Asociación de Economistas de América Latina y del Caribe (AEALC) [the National Association of Economists and Accountants and the Association of Economists of Latin America and the Caribbean], the 12th International Meeting of Economists on Globalization and Development Problems will take place at Palacio de Convenciones, Havana, Cuba, on March 1-5, 2010.
12th International Meeting of Economists on Globalization and Development Problems gathers economists, sociologists, political specialists, leaders of various political sectors and social movements, all from different parts of the world and from diverse schools of thought. The meeting provides a space for discussion and debate on the most crucial problems of the global economic crisis in the 21st century, its structural causes, its manifestations, interrelations, and possible solutions to help transform the present with the hope of achieving a viable future.
