The Federation of Caribbean Associations of Architects (FCAA) in conjunction with the Society of Architecture for the National Union of Architects and Engineers for the Construction of Cuba (UNAICC) presents the VII Biennial of Caribbean Architecture. With the theme “The Caribbean That Unites Us” as a starting point, the biennial will be held in Havana, Cuba, October 20-22, 2009. The categories of the biennial competition are architectural design, urban and landscape design, urban intervention, theory and criticism, and student submissions.
The Federation of Caribbean Associations of Architects represents national associations of architects from Antigua, Aruba, the Bahamas, Barbados, Cuba, Curaçao (Netherlands Antilles), Dominica, French Guyana, Guadeloupe, Jamaica, Martinique, Montserrat, Nevis, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Saint Lucia, Surinam, Trinidad and Tobago, and the US Virgin Islands.
