The organizers of the second annual “Reggae for Justice” Concert, scheduled for October 11th at the CPA Night Club at 1020 East 48th St, in Brooklyn, NY, are asking Caribbean musicians to take a stand against police brutality. The event is being hosted NYC radio personality, Michelle `Micheboo` Thompson, to aid her son’s defense in his battle with the NYPD. Thompson`s son, Isus Thompson, was allegedly brutalized by NYPD officers on June 6, 2008 in Forest Hills, Queens, NY.
The concert will feature reggae crooner, Mikey Spice, along with the Rootsman Bushman, Ansel Meditations, Michael Palmer, Keeling Beckford, Ed Robinson, Charmaine Dacosta, Kayla Bliss, Cherry Rock and Judah Eskender Tafari from the 12 Tribes of Israel.
