The 10^th annual Dominican Jazz Festival will take place on November 6-8, 2009 at Playa Cabarete in the Dominican Republic. Featured artists include the Dominican Republic’s Ambar jazz Group, the Ania Paez Group from Peru, Puerto Rico’s Holograma Quintet with Chombo Corniel, Fellé Vega + Un Folclore Imaginario from the DOminican Republic, Mexico’s Antonio Sánchez Quintet, Italy’s Marco Pignataro Quintet,  and El Canario Jazz Band. Concerts are held at Cabarete beach and the Gran Teatro del Cibao in Santiago. Their website, http://www.drjazzfestival.com/ was just recently updated but information is still incomplete.
