The BBC’s Radio 4 has just announced that it will broadcast a documentary about reggae legend Bob Marley’s spell as a worker at the giant Chrysler car manufacturing plant in Delaware this autumn. The 30-minute program from independent production house Whistledown, is scheduled for a Saturday morning slot in December. No specific date has been announced yet. Bob Marley: The Chrysler Year will focus on the period when he and his wife Rita lived with his mother in the city of Newark in Delaware in the late 60s.
