The International Institute of Caribbean Studies at the University of Cartagena in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, is hosting the International Seminar of Caribbean Studies. The seminar, Naciones, poder y cultura en el Caribe [Nations, Power, and Culture in the Caribbean], began on August 3 and will end on Friday, August 7, 2009. Today was dedicated to celebrating the work of Aimée Césaire.
