BIM is a “seminal Caribbean journal” that was revived as BIM: Arts for the 21st Century in 2007. It is housed at the Errol Barrow Centre for Creative Imagination at the University of the West Indies – Cave Hill, in Bridgetown, Barbados. The journal is published bi-annually, in May and November. The journal focuses on literary, artistic, and other cultural expressions in the Caribbean and its Diaspora.
Presently, the editors are inviting contributors to submit short fiction, poetry, and critical reviews. Manuscripts should be no more than 5,000 words, in double-spaced format, preferably with an accompanying electronic text file in Microsoft Word format.
