The Virgin Islands Caribbean Cultural Center (VICCC) will host an official St. Croix Launch and Roundtable featuring UVI Administration & Culture Bearer Remarks and video presentations of VICCC 2012 events and summits on Wednesday, January 30, 2013, in the Great Hall on the UVI Albert Sheen Campus from 12:00noon to 3:00pm.
Presentations and commentary will be provided by other members of the UVI Administration and Faculty to share the vision, mission, past and future events of VICCC. A roundtable discussion on VI and Caribbean Culture and Heritage Restoration will be part of this official launch on St. Croix- regarded as the cultural capital of the VI. UVI President Dr. David Hall, UVI Provost Dr. Camille McKayle, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) Dr. Simon Jones-Hendrickson, and VICCC Director Dr. Chenzira Davis Kahina.
