The Seventh NY Book Fair Expo at the Queens Museum of Art (QMA) will bring together the best of the Caribbean to New York City. Authors from different countries of the Caribbean basin will get together at the annual event on September 30, 2012, from 2:00pm to 8:00pm. This activity is free and open to the public.
Due to construction renovations at the QMA, the Book Fair is changing the traditional program of its 2012 event. Starting at 2:00pm, a selected group of Caribbean authors will discuss their production and success in the publishing world at the auditorium. Following the round table, the public will have the opportunity to meet and greet the authors and enjoy the largest book party in the city at the Unisphere Gallery.
Authors, books, live music and a reception will be at the center of the Seventh Annual Book Fair, celebrating the release of the book Languages of New York, as well as the talent of local and international writers.
Take this opportunity to visit the art exhibition Caribbean: Crossroads of the World on display until January 2013.
