Mayra Santos-Febres’ Tratado de Medicina Natural para Hombres Melancólicos [Treatise of Natural Remedies for Melancholic Men] (Libros AC, 2011) will be launched on Thursday, September 29, 2011, at 7:00pm at the School of Architects of Puerto Rico. The college is located at 225 Calle del Parque in Santurce, Puerto Rico.

Mayra Santos-Febres (Carolina, Puerto Rico, 1966) holds a PhD from Cornell University and she currently teaches at the University of Puerto Rico-Río Piedras. She is a literary critic and author of poetry, short stories, and novels including Sirena Selena vestida de pena, Cualquier miércoles soy tuya, Nuestra Señora de la Noche, and Fe en disfraz.
