Recently, Hinds has released tracks for Trinidad Carnival. “Soca Queen,” which was first released in Toronto, has been receiving good feedback. She also released “Makalele” and several Chutney tracks. She is currently working on a remix with Gyptian for his “Nah Let Go.”
Hinds plans to be in Trinidad from early February to perform in various public appearances leading up to the spectacular carnival climax in March. Hinds confirms that preparations are “looking real nice, and I have a couple more songs to release for Trinidad Carnival.”
