A concert to mark the birthday of Silvio Rodríguez took place last night in Caracas, Venezuela, at the Museo de Bellas Artes. Cuban and Venezuelan artists came together for a free concert that featured Rodríguez best known songs, poems,and testimonials about his work. The concert, titled “Silviando in Caracas”included artists such as Ismael de la Torre, Danilo Vázquez, Pinky, Pavel Póveda, Charly Salgado, Adrián León, Mauricio Figueiral, Raúl Verdecia, Dayana Ortiz, Yeniana Ordaz and Julio Viso. Silvio Rodríguez was born on November 29, 1946 and is celebrating today his 63rd birthday.
