
The London Guardian has published today a “digested” version of Jean Rhys’s Caribbean classic Wide Sargasso Sea. “Digested Classics” is a series by John Crace that, as the Guardian describes, offers “incisive pastiches of classic novels, from Joseph Conrad to Virginia Woolf.” I found his take on Wide Sargasso Sea mildly amusing, but you can judged for yourselves at the link below.
