Multimedia Project for Children Launched in Cuba Today

cuba

A multimedia dvd project for children was launched today in Havana at the Palacio de Computación (Central Computer Palace) and, simultaneously, at the Caribe Cinema in Isla de la Juventud (Isle of Youth). The release of the dvd marks the 47th anniversary of the foundation of Communist Youth League (UJC) and the 48th anniversary of the Pioneros José Martí (the José Martí Pioneers Organization). The dvd gathers stories for children and adolescents by leading Cuban authors like Dora Alonso, Nersys Felipe, Teresa Cárdenas, and Enrique Felipe Diaz. It also includes video games, puzzles, and art projects. The dvds will be available at the 609 Computer and Electronics Clubs for Young People across Cuba. The project was led by CITMATEL and Cubaliteraria.

  1. “Adored” the story about the children in Cuba having new resources to further their interest in the Arts. I just fell in love with the little boy to the left in the photo. Those are Green Eyes of wonder, happiness to learn and become the future of Cuba. Enjoyed it.
