Repeating Islands

Myriam Warner-Vieyra is 70 years old today.

The Guadeloupean novelist, author of Le Quimboiseur l’avait dit (1980), Juletane (1982), and Femmes échouées (1988), was born on March 25, 1939 in Pointe-à-Pitre.  She works as a librarian  and researcher at the University of Dakar and is said to be completing two new novels.
